A very quaint, tiny French café on a perfect West Village corner. I used to live a stone’s throw from here. It’s an idyllic little New York spot for brunch on the weekend but go early, lines form and stay throughout the service.

The “waters of the Seine” don’t seem far away at this West Village “staple” offering “earthy” French bistro eats, “accommodating” service and “fair prices” (helped along by the BYO policy); given the “postage-stamp” dimensions, there’s often a “line on the street.”

Recommend for New York brunch. many times ny brunch has been let down so when this was recommended to him, he had no expectation but after going, he can see himself going there everyday and got him excited about ny brunch. there is a long line during weekends but soon as he wakes up, he thinks about this brunch place. Even its small, its a good place to go to feel like home and they even calculate tip for you so you don’t have to worry about how much to give.
